2026 - First Annual Brunch ^N^ Learn
About this Event
If we want more peace in our communities, we must help create more peace in our homes.
In recognition of Domestic & Gun Violence Prevention and World Mental Health Day, clergy and faith leaders from Lake, Orange, and Seminole Counties, across all denominations, are invited to gather for a meaningful conversation about the intersections of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), domestic violence, mental wellness, faith, and family life.
Together, we will explore what faith communities can do through Pi-E: Prevention • Intervention • Education to recognize harmful patterns earlier, better support survivors and families, and become stronger partners in violence reduction. The planning team intentionally envisioned faith leadership as part of a larger community response, alongside survivors, service providers, educators, and advocates.
Because increasing peace in the home can increase peace in the community, and ultimately, peace in the world.
